Small Business Week Breakfast

Each year the Portage County Business Council Foundation sponsors activities and programs in honor of Small Business Week.

The Business Council identifies the needs of small businesses in Portage County and develops appropriate programs and activities to meet these needs. Programs and activities during this week are dedicated to celebrating successes of small business in Portage County.

The Annual Small Business Breakfast, held each May, honors all small businesses in Portage County who are Business Council members (currently 68 percent of our 500+ membership).

Breakfast invitations are sent to all Business Council members. In May 2004, over 130 business people attended. A short program with speaker is followed by presentation of the Entrepreneur of the Year award and Friend of Small Business award.

We invite Portage County Business Council members to help sponsor this event. Sponsorship levels are a $250 donation that helps defray complimentary meal costs and speaker fees.
