Beautification Awards Breakfast

Each year the Portage County Business Council presents beautification awards to recognize individuals and companies who have exceeded Portage County ordinance landscaping requirements. The awards foster and promote community attractiveness in several different categories including:

M&I Bank, Plover, winner of the Business Category

• Historic Preservation Award
• Two Family Residential Projects
• Multiple Family Residential Projects
• Businesses with more than 50 Employees
• Businesses With Under 50 Employees
• Public/Institutional Projects
• Developers: developers who incorporate restrictive covenants requiring landscaping and/or preservation of unique landscaping elements in the design of subdivisions, plats or large scale developments
• Redevelopment Award: Where a redevelopment project results in a considerable improvement to an area or neighborhood
• Special Recognition Award

Winners in each category are selected and presented during the Beautification Awards Breakfast in October. A short breakfast program with speaker is followed by the award presentations.
