Portage County Business Council & Foundation Sponsorship Opportunities

Annual Dinner
Investment Range: $25 - $5000

One night in January, the business community gathers to the Business Council's Annual Dinner, a celebration and recognition of current and past accomplishments. Our prestigious awards including Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Decree of Excellence, Presidents Award and Ambassador of the Year are presented and the extremely popular silent auction is part of the event. Your business will benefit from the exclusive promotion to businesses, reaching more than 350 movers and shakers in the Portage County area.

Business on the Green Golf Outing
Investment Range: $25 - $5000

Held on the first Monday in June, Business on the Green provides an opportunity to network while golfing with customers, employees and other Portage County businesses. The event is held simultaneously at two highly rated Wisconsin courses. Limited to 288 golfers, this popular golf outing historically sells out each year. Your sponsorship of A Hole-In-One, Beverage Cart, Putting Contest, Lunch, Dinner or Hole events will create positive results before, during and after the last putt is sunk.

Portage County Business Expo
Investment Range: $25 - $5000

The annual Business Expo is the perfect venue for exhibitors to showcase their products and services to the business community. The Business Expo provides networking opportunities, excellent speakers to help re-energize yourself and your business and lunch with a keynote speaker. Sponsorships are available, but not limited to tote bags, speakers, lunch, advertising and exhibitor lounge.

Leadership Portage County (LPC)
Investment range: $25 - $1000

LPC develops individual and community leadership through community awareness and involvement. LPC is effective: the 2008-09 Program created increases in all four layers of community involvement: awareness, advocacy, participation, and leadership. Financial contributions and sponsorships maintain an affordable tuition rate, which assists LPC in its commitment to diverse and inclusive participation.

Partners in Education (PIE)
Investment range: $25 - $6000

PIE develops Portage County’s future workforce through career awareness and employability skill development programs for K-12 students in partner school districts in Portage and Waushara Counties. PIE programs provide opportunities for business, education and community to form relationships, share information and provide the resources for student career development. PIE programs provide students the crucial link of classroom learning to real-world application. PIE partner schools’ students are able to benefit greatly from PIE’s collaborative programs because of business sponsorships.

Young Professionals of Portage County (YP)
Investment range: $50 - $1000

YP provides social networking, professional development, and community service opportunities to those interested in developing their professional and community lives. Young Professionals assists Portage County to attract and retain young talent in the local workforce by creating meaningful relationships to the community. Business sponsorships of Young Professional Programs are critical to keep Young Professionals of Portage County flexible and inclusive to newcomers and to accommodate the varying needs of today’s workforce.
