Take your leadership to the next level! Applications are now being accepted for Leadership Portage County (LPC), a dynamic educational series for those ready to commit to greater leadership roles in their organizations and the community. The ten-month LPC program combines interactive monthly sessions, leadership skill development, experiential learning opportunities, community awareness activities, & networking to help participants become more effective leaders. The deadline for applications is May 1st; however, applications will be accepted up to August 15th if space is available. No applications will be accepted after August 15th for the current program year. The Leadership Portage County Program is limited to a maximum of 28 participants each year. Applications are dated as they are received at the PCBC office. Participants are carefully chosen to include a diverse mix of ages and social and economic backgrounds representing private businesses of all sizes, public institutions and nonprofit organizations. If you are not accepted into the program for this year's LPC class, you are encouraged to apply again in a subsequent year. Applicants will be notified about program acceptance and scholarship awards in June. |
