The Portage County Business Council Foundation welcomes new educators to our community’s educational institutions.  Each Fall, all new teachers and staff in PIE Partner Schools receive a Welcome Basket containing coupons and other tokens of appreciation from business and community sponsors.  The Welcome Baskets also include an invitation to the New Faculty Social.

The annual new faculty and staff social provides an opportunity for the central Wisconsin community and new faculty members to become better acquainted. New University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Mid-State Technical College and K-12 public and private faculty and academic staff are the honored guests. One host from the business community is paired with each new faculty or staff person for the evening.

As a community host you will be responsible for the cost of two meals, yours and your guest's. You will also be asked to briefly introduce your guest at the event.
